My Agents and Your Agent's Settings
The My Agents list, and everything on an agent's own page: the buttons at the top, older versions, what each section does, and which changes go live straight away. Settings that need more detail have their own articles, linked below.
The My Agents list
My Agents shows every agent you own or that has been shared with you. Each card shows:
- the agent’s name and the last eight characters of its ID
- Private or Public (see Agent Type below)
- its category, for example Receptionist or Personal Assistant
- its phone number, or Web Only Agent if it has none
Use the Category filter at the top to show one kind of agent. Click Create New Agent to make a new one; see Creating Your First Agent.
If you belong to a TriLuna organisation, a second section, Other <organisation> Agents, lists your colleagues’ agents. Seeing an agent there doesn’t mean you can open it. Clicking one lets you request access from its owner. See Sharing an Agent and Requesting Access.
Opening an agent
Click an agent’s card to open its page. You need Manager or Owner access to change settings; with Viewer access you can see them but not change them.
The buttons at the top
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Pencil icon next to the name | Rename the agent |
| Test Agent | Talk to the agent in your browser through the same chat widget visitors would see, and get the code to put that widget on your website |
| Call Out | Have the agent phone someone now. Needs a phone number that can make outbound calls |
| Duplicate | Make a copy of the agent with all the same settings, then open the copy |
| All Conversations | Every conversation this agent has had |
| Download Config | Save the agent’s settings as a file |
| Publish / Unpublish | Public agents only: list the agent in, or remove it from, the TriLuna Community |
| Remove Agent | Remove the agent from your list (see below) |
On a phone, these are under the menu icon.
Older versions
When you edit an agent, TriLuna keeps a copy of its earlier settings as a numbered version. If the agent has older versions, a dropdown under its name, set to Current Version, lets you look at one, listed by version number and date. While you’re viewing an old version, a banner says so. Click View Current Version to go back.
Older versions are for reference: you can look at them, but not switch the agent back to one. To go back to earlier instructions, copy them from the old version into a behavior. See How to Set Agent Behavior.
Removing an agent
What Remove Agent does depends on whether anyone else has access:
- Others have access: it removes only your access. The agent keeps working for everyone else, and the confirmation lists who they are.
- You’re the last person with access: you’re asked whether to permanently delete the agent. OK deletes it for good. Cancel then asks whether to just remove your access instead, which leaves the agent running but with nobody in TriLuna able to open it.
Banners at the top
These appear only when they apply:
- Active Behavior — the behavior the agent is using right now, with its current greeting. Yellow means it’s temporary and shows when it expires. Click the name to open it.
- Prompt suggestions waiting — ideas collected from your agent’s recent conversations for improving its instructions, with the most frequent listed. Click Review & apply to apply or dismiss them. This is the only place they’re acted on; see Prompt suggestions.
- Viewing Version … — you’re looking at an older saved version of the agent. Click View Current Version to go back.
How the agent works
| Section | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Agent Type | Private agents add conversations to the agent’s memory so it can personalise later calls. Public agents don’t, which is what you want for an agent strangers call. |
| Agent Category | How memory is stored. Personal Assistant remembers you, the owner, whatever phone you call from. Receptionist remembers each caller through your contact list. The other categories (Facilitator, Outreach, Utility, Demo) are labels for other kinds of agents. See Personal Assistant Agents. |
| Caller Memory | When on, the agent gets context from earlier calls with the same phone number. Needs a phone number assigned to the agent. |
| Conversation Memory | When on, the agent gets dated summaries of its last 15 or so conversations so it can refer to specific past calls. Summaries start building from the next completed call. |
| Behavioral Overrides | When on, TriLuna can tailor the agent’s system prompt and first message on each call, for caller memory, campaign talking points and group calls. See Behavioral Overrides. |
| Voice Agent Creation | Lets you create a new agent by telling this one “create a new agent”. Only works on private personal assistant agents. |
| Smart Call Assistant | Call screening, where a person can join a live call. Appears only if call screening is enabled on your account, and switching it on requires 10,000+ credits. |
How the agent sounds
- Voice Selection — pick one of your cloned voices or a premade voice. See Choosing Your Agent’s Voice.
- Speech Model — the text-to-speech engine that renders the voice.
- Pronunciations — teach the voice how to say names and unusual words.
How the agent thinks
- AI Model — the language model behind the agent’s replies.
- Token Limit — a cap on how long each reply can be.
Both are covered in Choosing Your Agent’s AI Model.
What the agent says: behaviors
Behavior Management, near the bottom of the page, holds the agent’s instructions (its system prompt) and its opening line (first message). Phone calls and video meetings each have their own behavior. See How to Set Agent Behavior.
Video meetings
- Video Conference Behavior — the agent’s speech-recognition language in TriLuna video meetings, plus a warning if it uses tools that don’t work in video.
- Facilitation — tick Enable Facilitation to have the agent help run group sessions, then choose how involved it gets, from None (a silent note-taker) to Strict (it runs the agenda).
Phones, tools and knowledge
- Assigned Phone Numbers — the numbers that ring this agent.
- Tools & Integrations — calendar, SMS inbox and other tools the agent can use during a call. See Calendar User Guide and Email Tool Setup.
- Knowledge Base — documents the agent can look things up in.
- Webhook tools — connect the agent to your own systems.
Sync from ElevenLabs
TriLuna’s voice agents run on ElevenLabs. Sync pulls the agent’s current configuration, knowledge base and behavior from there. If something was changed on the TriLuna side and differs, the TriLuna version is archived rather than lost. You rarely need this. Use it if support asks you to, or if the page looks out of date.
Personalised greetings and caller language
When a caller is in your contacts, TriLuna can adjust each call as it starts:
- Greeting by name. English agents open with “Hi Jane!” in front of their normal first message.
- The caller’s preferred language. If the contact has a preferred language that differs from the agent’s (Spanish, French or Japanese today), the agent greets them in that language and is told to keep the conversation in it.
Outbound campaigns use the same mechanism to brief the agent on each contact. See Campaign Talking Points and Agent Overrides.
All of this relies on overrides: permission for TriLuna to change the agent’s first message, system prompt and language for one call at a time. Each of the three is switched on or off separately:
| Override | What it enables |
|---|---|
| First message | Greeting callers by name; a greeting in the caller’s language |
| System prompt | Telling the agent to stay in the caller’s language; campaign talking points |
| Language | Switching the agent’s speech to the caller’s language |
A call can fail to connect if TriLuna sends a change the agent doesn’t allow, so TriLuna checks the agent’s overrides before every call and leaves out anything that isn’t allowed. The call still goes through, just without that part of the personalisation. Language is treated as off unless the agent is known to allow it.
If a caller wasn’t greeted by name, or the agent didn’t switch to their language:
- Check the caller is in your contacts with a first name, and a preferred language if relevant.
- Check the phone number they called from matches the one on the contact.
- Check the agent’s overrides. If your agents are on your own ElevenLabs account, open the agent in the ElevenLabs dashboard, go to Security › Overrides, and turn on what you need. Otherwise, email support with the agent’s name.
Common questions
I changed a setting. When does it take effect? Voice, AI model, token limit and phone behaviors apply from the next call; a call already in progress carries on with the old settings. Video behaviors apply from the next meeting the agent joins.
Some sections aren’t on my agent. Several sections appear only when they apply. Profile Image appears only for published public agents, High-Level Summary only for personal assistants, Assigned Phone Numbers not at all for app-only agents, and Smart Call Assistant only when call screening is on for your account.
The page says this agent is unclaimed. It has no primary owner. If you’re a Manager or Owner, click Claim to become its owner, so that it shows up in places like the video meeting Add AI Agent picker.
