Sharing an Agent and Requesting Access
Every AI agent on TriLuna has an owner. Other people can open it only if the owner has shared it with them. If you land on an agent you haven't been given access to, you can ask the owner for it from that same screen, and the owner approves or declines in one click.
Access levels
When an agent is shared with you, you get one of three levels:
| Level | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Viewer | See the agent’s details and its conversations |
| Manager | Everything a viewer can, plus edit the agent’s settings and behaviour |
| Owner | Full control, including sharing the agent with other people and reviewing access requests |
An agent’s original creator is its primary owner. Owners can grant the Owner level to others, so an agent can have more than one.
Sharing an agent you own
- Open the agent from My Agents.
- Scroll to Access Management at the bottom of the page.
- Click Share Access, pick the person, choose a level, add an optional note, and click Grant Access.
The person can open the agent immediately. From the same list you can change someone’s level with the dropdown next to their name, or revoke it with the bin icon.
Requesting access to someone else’s agent
If you open an agent’s page and see You don’t have access to this agent, you are looking at the request screen. It names the agent and its owner.
- Choose the level you’re asking for, Viewer or Manager. Owner level can’t be requested; an owner has to grant it directly.
- Optionally write a short message explaining why.
- Click Request access.
The agent’s owners get an email with your request and a link straight to their Access Management section. If the agent has no owner at all, the request goes to a TriLuna administrator instead.
Come back to the same page any time to see where things stand:
- Request pending — the owner hasn’t decided yet.
- Request approved — reload the page and the agent opens.
- Request declined — you’ll see the owner’s note if they left one, and you can send a new request.
You’ll also get an email when the owner approves or declines.
Approving or declining a request
When someone asks for access to an agent you own, you get an email, and the request appears at the top of Access Management on that agent’s page under Access requests.
For each request you can:
- Adjust the level with the dropdown (for example, grant Viewer even if they asked for Manager).
- Click Approve to grant access at that level. The person is emailed and can open the agent right away.
- Click Decline and optionally add a note. The note is included in the email they receive.
Approved requests turn into a normal entry in your access list, so you can change or revoke them later like any other share.
Agents from your organisation
If you belong to a TriLuna organisation, My Agents also has an Other … Agents section (named after your organisation) listing agents owned by your colleagues. Seeing an agent there doesn’t mean you can open it. Click one and you’ll get the request screen, where you can ask the colleague who owns it for access.
Removing your own access
If an agent has been shared with you and you no longer want it in your list, open it, scroll to Access Management, and click Remove My Access next to your name. You’ll stop seeing the agent and its calls. The owner can share it with you again later.
Common questions
I requested access and nothing happened. The owner has to act on it. Requests don’t expire, but if it has been a while, contact them directly. Your request is visible to them on the agent’s page even if the email went astray.
Can I ask for access twice? Only after a decline. While a request is pending, clicking Request access again just shows the existing one.
Who counts as an owner for approvals? The agent’s primary owner and anyone who has been given the Owner level. TriLuna administrators can also approve or decline.
