Book Now — Let People Book Time With You
Book now gives you a public page at
triluna.app/<username>/booknow where anyone can pick an open time on your calendar and book a telephone, video, or in-person meeting with you. You choose which of those three you offer, and each one has its own small set of options.
Before you start
Book now needs two things on your profile:
- A community username. The booking page lives at
triluna.app/<username>/booknow, so there is no page until you have a username. See TriLuna Community Username for how to claim one. Until it’s set, the Book now checkbox is greyed out. - Calendar sync, so the page knows when you’re free. Bookers only see times that are open on your connected calendar. See Google Calendar Sync.
Turning it on
On your profile, tick Enable “Book now” on my community profile and save. Your link appears next to the checkbox once it’s on.
Directly underneath, a section called Meeting types you offer lists the three types. Tick the ones you want to appear on your booking page. Anything unticked is simply not shown to bookers.

Save after changing any of these.
Why does my page only show two options?
Because one type is unticked. If your page shows Video and In person but not Telephone, go back to Meeting types you offer, tick Telephone, and save. The booking page updates within a minute.
New accounts that have never saved this section offer all three types. The moment you save the section, only the ticked types are offered.
Telephone meetings
The booker enters their phone number and you call them at the booked time. Two optional settings shape how that call goes:
- Lobby gatekeeper agent. Leave this at None (ring you directly) and the booked call rings you like any other. Pick an agent and it answers the guest first, holds them in a lobby, and pages you. Only agents that are eligible for this role are listed.
- Facilitator agent (optional). When you join a gatekept call, the gatekeeper hands off to this agent, or to you directly if you leave it at None (you take over).
The guest’s confirmation tells them to expect a call from your Default Caller ID, which is set higher up on the same profile page. If you have no TriLuna number yet, set one up before offering telephone bookings, or the guest won’t know which number to expect.
Video meetings
- Leave Meeting link blank and TriLuna creates a private video room for each booking and puts the join link in the guest’s confirmation.
- Paste a link (Zoom, Meet, Teams, or anything else) and that link is sent instead. Platform is just a label so the guest knows what to expect.
In-person meetings
Enter your meeting location / address and it goes into every in-person confirmation. Leave it blank and the booker is asked for a location when they book.
What the booker goes through
- Opens your link and picks a meeting type.
- Picks a date and one of your open times, in their own time zone.
- Enters their name and email, plus a phone number for telephone meetings.
- Verifies their email or phone with a one-time code, so you are not booked by a made-up address.
- Gets a confirmation email with the time, the type, and the join link or address. The email carries a calendar invite (
.ics) and an Add to Google Calendar link, and the confirmation screen offers the same two Add to calendar buttons — for telephone and in-person meetings as well as video. Either option adds the meeting to the booker’s own calendar only.
The meeting appears on your calendar and in My Meetings at the same time.
Podcast guest slots
If you publish a podcast on TriLuna, an episode that is open for guests can share this same booking page via a link that includes the episode. The first guest to book chooses video or telephone, and that choice sets the recording format for every guest on that episode. Only the types you have enabled above are offered.
Common questions
Can I offer Telephone without a TriLuna number? You can tick it, but the guest’s confirmation will not name a number to expect. Set a Default Caller ID first.
Can I turn Book now off temporarily? Yes. Untick Enable “Book now” and save. Your link returns “Booking is not available” until you turn it back on. Existing bookings are not affected.
Why is the Book now checkbox greyed out? There is no community username on your profile yet. See TriLuna Community Username.
I changed my username and my link stopped working. The link contains your username, so changing it changes the link. Reshare the new one.
