Google Calendar Sync
Connect your Google Calendar and TriLuna will stop offering times you're already busy — and add confirmed bookings straight to your Google Calendar, so you don't have to accept an emailed invite.
What it does
Connecting your Google Calendar turns on two things at once.
TriLuna won’t double-book you. Before showing anyone an open time, TriLuna checks your Google Calendar. If you’re busy — a meeting, a dentist appointment, a blocked-out afternoon — that time simply isn’t offered. This applies to both your “Book now” page and your AI voice agent, so an agent taking a call can no longer promise a slot you’re already committed to.
Bookings land in your real calendar. When someone books you, TriLuna creates the event on your Google Calendar automatically. It appears alongside everything else, with the booker’s name, email, phone (for telephone meetings) and the video link where relevant.
TriLuna only reads when you are busy — it does not read the titles, guests, or contents of your other calendar events.
Connecting
- Go to My Settings.
- Find the Google Calendar section and click Connect.
- Sign in to Google and approve the two calendar permissions.
- You’ll come back to TriLuna showing Connected as your Google address.
Google lets you approve the two calendar permissions separately. One lets TriLuna see when you're busy; the other lets it add bookings. Both are needed, so if you uncheck either, TriLuna will ask you to reconnect.
Turning each direction on or off
Once connected, two checkboxes let you control each direction independently:
- Don’t offer times I’m busy in Google — the double-booking guard. Turning this off means TriLuna goes back to only knowing about its own calendar, and someone can book you during an existing Google event.
- Add confirmed bookings to my Google Calendar — turning this off means bookings stay in TriLuna, and you’d add them to Google yourself from the emailed invite.
Most people want both on. They’re separated only so you can, for example, keep the busy check while managing events yourself.
Cancelling a booking
Deleting a booked time from your TriLuna calendar also removes the matching event from your Google Calendar, which frees the slot up again on both sides.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect in the Google Calendar section of My Settings. TriLuna immediately stops reading your availability and stops adding events. Events it already created stay on your Google Calendar — disconnecting does not delete your meetings.
TriLuna will only know about times blocked inside TriLuna itself.
Troubleshooting
“Google access was revoked — reconnect your calendar.” This appears in My Settings if you removed TriLuna’s access from your Google account (or changed your Google password in a way that invalidated it). Your availability is no longer being checked against Google, so reconnect to restore the double-booking guard.
A booking didn’t appear in Google. Check that Add confirmed bookings to my Google Calendar is ticked in My Settings. A booking is never lost because of a Google problem — it’s always recorded in TriLuna and emailed to you as a calendar invite you can accept manually.
Times still show as available when I’m busy. Confirm the Don’t offer times I’m busy in Google box is ticked, and that the busy event is on the same Google account shown as “Connected as”. TriLuna reads your primary Google calendar.
