The problem
Board meetings, strata council meetings, and AGMs are governed by procedure. Procedure is exactly what AI is good at — but only when it stays helpful and stops being a nuisance.
How TriLuna helps
- Motion tracking — “I move that…” gets captured with seconder, vote count, outcome
- Speaker queue — first to raise hand (verbally signal) gets the floor next
- Time limits per agenda item — auto-warn at the 1-minute mark, auto-mute at the limit
- Quorum awareness — the AI knows your bylaw quorum and flags when you’re below
- Roll call — automated at session start
- Action item capture — anything tagged “action item” is logged for the secretary
Reference implementation
We built this for Altever, a strata council platform. Their facilitator agent is included as a reference implementation in our codebase. Contact us for a walkthrough of the Altever setup.
Recommended setup
- Mode: Facilitator (Active) for tightly-run meetings, On-Call for boards that prefer the chair to drive
- Roles: Moderator (chair), Speaker (board members), Listener (observers / minutes-takers)
- Turn duration: Agenda-item dependent — typically 2 minutes per speaker per item
- Auto-mute non-speakers: Recommended ON during formal motions, OFF during open discussion
What’s stored
- Motions and votes (your secretary will want these)
- Action items (with owner and due date if specified)
- Attendance log
- Meeting transcript (optional, default off)
You control what’s kept. See Privacy.
Get started
The Facilitator (Telephone) plan at $49/mo runs board meetings cleanly. Larger councils with video preference should consider Facilitator (Video) at $89/mo. Start a free trial or contact us for a strata-specific setup.
