Do Not Call Again

When to use it
Use Do not call again when a person asks not to be called, or when a call went badly enough that calling back would be rude. The number is never called again by any campaign, and what happened stays on record.

Mark a number do not call

  1. Open the call: on the campaign’s Calls tab, or from a contact’s Activity.
  2. Click Do not call again.
  3. Write what happened on the call, for example “They answered and heard silence, nobody joined the call.” This is required.
  4. Click Do not call again to confirm.

What it does

  • Every campaign stops calling the number. It goes on the do-not-call list, which is checked before every outbound call.
  • The contact stays in your lists. It isn’t hidden or deleted. Its status becomes opted out, and it shows a red do not call badge in every campaign that includes the number.
  • The contact’s page explains why. Click Activity next to the contact to see the full note, when the number was blocked, and a link to the call.
  • Retry disappears. A do-not-call contact can’t be put back in the queue.
  • The call page keeps the record. A red banner at the top of the call shows what happened and when the number was blocked.

The change can’t be undone from the campaign pages. If a number was blocked by mistake, contact support.
